What materials is Storyball made out of?
All Materials are regulated to the highest standards and safe to be used by children. We have kids and Storyball was created to be safe and durable to withstand children’s active play.
Storyball is made out of durable, yet flexible, plastic and nylon materials. The exterior is made of (TPR), non phthalate Thermoplastic Rubber, mix of polymers (plastic and a rubber). The character skin is made of Polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), a synthetic semi-crystalline engineered thermoplastic (a high-performance material), and the inner parts holding Storyball’s “brain” are made of strong Nylon 6 material.

Can my child play through a Storyball adventure more than once?
Sure! The Storyball game play is not linear, so there are many “decision points” where your child can go in one path instead of the other, he or she can then choose to go back and try the other options to see what happens. Also the scoring depends on many variables, such as time for mission, retry and other, in order to get more “medals” your child can go back and get a better score.

Can I purchase a new story without purchasing a new skin?
Yes you can, the Storyball App will allow you to purchase content within the “skins” that you own, so you can purchase new stories, new quests and some educational stuff (like learning language). Having said that, each skin comes packed with content and there is also free content to be downloaded. If you want to completely change the character, you will need to purchase a new character skin.

Unfortunately no, Storyball is splash proof - that means it will still work if a minimum amount of water comes across. But it is definitely not a bathtime toy (you are giving us a idea so maybe with Story ball 2.0 …)

Is this good for kids with autism?
Storyball interacts through sensory cues and can assist in strengthening audio-processing skills. At the moment we do not support customized content for children with Autism, however, we are in research for that and other developmental disabilities, as well. Such content is currently in development and hope to release it later in the year. Parents and/or researchers that are interested in working with us are welcomed to send us PM.

Is there any violence?
As in any game, some of the skins are more into fighting the evil enemies then others. This content will be in the “skins” aimed 7 and up, but also there we are keeping the educational aspect in mind and any “violence” will be very lite. (Plus we have the opportunity to allow the player a choice to resolve in a different way and see the different outcome).

How is the content created and monitored?
At this point, we create all content with our specialists, several who have a background in children’s entertainment and education.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
